Confident Eaters Programmes

Dr Kirsty Porter, paediatric dietitian, working one-to-one with a parent to support their child’s fussy and sensory eating challenges.

Helping you understand your child’s eating and feel more confident about what to do next

When your child eats a limited range, refuses unfamiliar foods or finds eating difficult, it can be hard to know which advice to follow.

The Confident Eaters Programmes provide a clear, supportive pathway to help you understand what may be shaping your child’s eating and take realistic steps forward.

Created by Dr Kirsty Porter, Paediatric Dietitian, each edition has been designed around the different eating experiences and support needs of children and their families.

Choose the programme that best fits your family

Confident Eaters Programme: Preschool Edition

Learn how to create calmer foundations, build familiarity and help your child gradually develop greater confidence around food.

Confident Eaters Programme: Neurodivergent Edition

For parents of neurodivergent children (no formal diagnosis needed) aged two and over.

This edition explores sensory eating, predictability, anxiety, limited diets, nutrition, food confidence and everyday eating through a neurodivergent-informed approach.

Not sure which edition is right for you?

The Preschool Edition focuses on common selective-eating experiences during the preschool years.

The Neurodivergent Edition may be more appropriate when sensory differences, anxiety, a strong need for predictability or neurodivergence significantly influence your child’s eating.
