For these muffins the adult can measure out all the ingredients and hand them to the kids for them to add to the bowl and mix. Show them first what to do and then do together with lots of encouragement and praise.
Blueberry Oat Muffins
- 1 egg
- 1 cup/130 grams Greek yogurt
- 1/3 cup/45grams honey
- 1/4 cup/30mls milk
- 1 cup/130grams oats
- 3/4 cup/95grams plain flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
- 1/2-1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup/130grams blueberries
- Measure out all the ingredients.
- Put cases in a muffin tray or set silicone muffin tray mould out.
- Crack egg & then add yoghurt, honey & milk. Whisk together well.
- In a separate bowl add oats, baking powder, cinnamon & bicarb of soda & sieve flour in then add blueberries.
- Add the liquid mixture in and mix well.
- Put the mixture in a muffin tray you can use an ice cream scoop to do this!
- Get your kids to help out!
- Put in oven & bake at 170c fan oven for 20-25 minutes or until cooked.
- Leave to cool.
- Serve & enjoy!
