Blueberry Flapjacks

Dr Kirsty Porter
This delicious blueberry flapjack recipe is ideal as a well balanced snack for your babies and children, or it can be a breakfast on the go with some yogurt! This is a great recipe to get cooking with your kids.
The advantage of the silicone mould shape is that is the ideal finger shape and size snack for a baby. This promotes self-feeding as it is easier for your baby to grasp and the different textures provided by the ingredients help continued progression with textures. This is also beneficial for younger kids who struggle with fussy eating as well.  At Nutrition4kids we try and make food and snack ideas that are suitable for the whole family so everyone can enjoy them.  This is one example!
We are passionate about getting families in the kitchen with everyone getting involved when they can! Cooking with kids should be fun and enjoyable. Make it a pressure free zone! This also helps your child’s confidence with cooking & become more accepting of foods too! They may even try the separate ingredients in the process!
Food Allergens: Oats & Milk. You can use a plant-based milk alternative to make it dairy free.
